PLEASE REMEMBER: When transporting a dog or dogs for BAR we ask that you keep in mind that the animals may be under extreme stress due to the move.  Please do not bring your own dogs on the CUR, or small children unless the new dogs are crated. We ask this for your own safety and that of your families. Thank you for being a valuable volunteer for BAR, it is you that Makes the Difference.

$$  A note on gasoline reimbursement from Gary, our finance director $$: 
I know we are all reeling from almost $3 per gallon of gas prices, and there are some that would love to help in these transports but with the price of gas, it would stretch the household budget to an uncomfortable level. These dogs need us, and they need us badly. There is no one else to help them but us, so I have a proposal. The rescue is more then happy to help those who want to help the dogs but don't feel that they can with the price of gas today. Please email me PRIVATELY at:  savantgary@yahoo.com
and we can work out a reimbursement to help you help the dogs. This will be done privately, so please email me so we can help the dogs.  This is to get GUINNESS a big, handsome, 2yr old Boxer boy to his foster home.  Dana, BAR’s trusted transport coordinator, is not able to help with this one so please bear with me as I fumble through this.

I have tried to keep these “legs” nice and short to help get this filled quickly.  -Please email me, Deb, directly at chynnabee@yahoo.com  if you can help get Guinness to his foster home. -Please be sure to include the LEG # and your CELL PHONE # in your response so that I have it to pass along to the other transporter volunteers when the time comes.

FYI- The owner would like to get started early in the AM on Saturday.
